This course is for learners who wish to go to university to become a paramedic. When you complete the enrolment form, indicate whether you wish to study "paramedic practice" or "paramedic science" at university and we will ensure you have the correct combination of units for entry on that course.

Universities typically require you to have an Access to Higher Education Diploma in addition to GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above (or Grade 4 or above with the new grading system). Some universities will accept Functional Skills Level 2 English and Mathematics in lieu of GCSEs, but you should check with the university before enrolling.

Our online Access to Higher Education course allows you to take control of your own learning without having to attend lectures and tutorials at set times. Work through our interactive courses at your own pace and if you need help you can contact your personal tutor and they will be able to support you with a telephone or videoconference tutorial. All our tutors are all fully qualified and experienced teachers and subject specialists in the topics you will be studying.
